Prince Edward Island Entrepreneur Immigration Program:
Channel 1: 100% ownership
From September 20, 2018, Prince Edward Island will only issue invitations to applicants for entrepreneurial immigration programs under the “Work Permit” channel. The “100% ownership” and “partial ownership” channels are closed.
Channel 2: Partial ownership
From September 20, 2018, Prince Edward Island will only issue invitations to applicants for entrepreneurial immigration programs under the “Work Permit” channel. The “100% ownership” and “partial ownership” channels are closed.
Channel Three: Work Permit
Applicant Prerequisites:
- Have a personal net worth of at least 600,000 Canadian dollars with legal and verifiable sources
- Have at least a high school degree or above
- Between 21 and 59 years old
- Have transferable management and business skills, as well as previous employment or business owner experience
- CLB 4 in English
- Interested in living and working in Prince Edward Island, and actively participating in company management
- Attend an interview with the government immigration department
- Sign an agreement with the government and pay a deposit of 200,000 Canadian dollars (refunds will be made after the terms of the agreement are reached)
Cost:
– $265,000 Canadian dollars (including the custodial deposit of 200,000 Canadian dollars which will be conditionally returned by the government)
– After living and investing 150,000 Canadian dollars in Prince Edward Island for one year, the deposit will be returned to investors
